Local SEO Product Manager

About The Job:

Contractor Independence uses Local SEO techniques revolving around Google Maps to create organic lead-producing assets for our Clients that will serve them for years to come. We utilize a blend of internal and external team members or vendors to achieve results. The Local SEO Product Manager owns the day-to-day operation, management, reporting, and overall results of this process. They are responsible for operating and eventually leading a team that operates the process from start to finish, and innovating & testing new strategies on an ongoing basis through their own knowledge and by leveraging a team of Local SEO consultants.

Responsibilities:

o Take ownership of the Local SEO Product process and operate within Key Performance Indicators to improve process, results, and client experience.

o Improve and innovate the Local SEO Process to increase Maps Rankings and number of leads produced for Client GBP Listings.

o Build and lead a team to operate the Local SEO Process

o Fully own the process surrounding the Verification of new Client GBP listings, and the Reinstatement of Suspended Client GBP Listings.

o Communicate directly with Account Management as needed to keep Client informed of GBP Status.

o Utilize existing Local SEO Consultants, Vendors, and develop additional relationships to keep our process at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements:

o Able to work US business hours

o Proficient in spoken and written English.

o A deep understanding of Local Search Engine Optimization strategies and best practices, specifically with Google Maps (also known as Google Business Profile or Google My Business).

o Innovative - You are constantly looking for ways to make something better and more efficient.

Experience:

o Proven track record of managing Local SEO Campaigns - Demonstrable success in improving Maps Rankings, generating leads, and verifying/reinstating GBP listings.

o Experience managing dozens to hundreds of Maps listings, including verification of new listings and reinstatement of suspended listings.

o Experience overseeing the operation and results of a Local SEO process.

o Previous experience with Home Services (roofing, remodeling, etc.) Maps listings highly preferred.
